Hotel Stela Center to zupełnie nowe miejsce na mapie hotelowej Tirany. Kameralny hotel mieszczący się w odnowionej, dwupiętrowej kamienicy w środku pachnie jeszcze nowością. Idealne położenie, w samym centrum miasta (jakieś 300 m) od głównego placu Skandberga, sprawia, że można łatwo dojechać stąd w każde miejsce miasta, a centrum można spokojnie zwiedzić na piechotę. Nazwa hotelu więc całkowicie zasłużona. Na pewno mieszkamy w centrum.
Z nowością hotelu mogą wiązać się też nieznaczne niedogodności. Pierwsza, taksówkarz nie znał hotelu, kazaliśmy więc jechać na skrzyżowanie ulic przy których znajduje się Stela Center. Wysadził nas pod samymi drzwiami hotelu. Druga, nie ma jeszcze windy w hotelu. Z bagażem mniejszym czy większym, chętnie pomoże obsługa recepcji, zarówno przy przyjeździe, jak i podczas opuszczania hotelu. Pracownicy recepcji są mili i pomocni, naprawdę przyjaźnie nastawieni do gości. Udzielą informacji i porad dotyczących miasta, komunikacji, zwiedzania. Problem? – żaden problem. Gdy trzeba było rozdzielić podwójne łóżko na dwa typu twin, panie pokojowe zrobiły to od razu w ciągu 10 minut; kołdry zamiast prześcieradeł (standardowo zakładanych na lato) pojawiły się po minucie od naszej prośby. Bezproblemowe i otwarte podejście do gości, to ogromna zaleta tego hotelu, a właściwie zasługa jego załogi.
Niewielka recepcja, jak to często bywa w hotelach butikowych, połączona jest z restauracją. Tutaj można zjeść coś w ciągu dnia, napić drinka wieczorem (jeśli ktoś nie ma ochoty wychodzić do barów i restauracji poza hotel, których jest w pobliżu mnóstwo). W restauracji serwowane jest też śniadanie. Trochę byliśmy zdziwieni, że śniadanie serwowane jest od 07:30. Dla nas było to zdecydowanie za późno, o 7:30 musieliśmy już wyjechać z hotelu na dworzec, skąd mieliśmy o 8:00 autobus. Na szczęście dzięki uprzejmości obsługi, śniadanie było gotowe już o 7:00, więc mogliśmy zjeść pełne, europejskie śniadanie, na ciepło i zimno, z bardzo dobrą kawą z ekspresu.
Gdyby w pokoju dodać sejf oraz zestaw do parzenia kawy/herbaty, pokój spełniałby kryteria 4* hotelu. Pomimo pokoju standardowego, pokój był naprawdę przestronny, łazienka spora, z oknem. Dużo miejsca na garderobę i walizki dzięki wbudowanym szafom. Wszystko w pokoju nowe i pachnące. Łóżka bardzo wygodne, a pościel wysokiej jakości. Klimatyzacja, niezbędna przy panujących upałach (+35C), działała bez zarzutu. W pokoju po kilkunastu minutach można było mieć nawet 19-20 stopni. Wszystko dzięki indywidulnemu sterowaniu w każdym pokoju. Jedyne, czego brakowało w wyposażeniu pokoju , to jakiś mały stolik z fotelami do siedzenia.
Widna i duża łazienka była nowocześnie i komfortowo wyposażona. Przestronny prysznic, osobny WC i bidet, duża umywalka z blatem mogącym pomieścić sporą liczbę kosmetyków. Łazienka w naszym odczuciu to co najmniej 4 gwiazdki.
Podsumowując, bardzo udany, choć krótki pobyt w Tiranie. Hotel Stela Center jest godny polecenia za obsługę, standard pokoju i położenie.

Hotel Stela Center is a completely new place on the hotel map of Tirana. Quite intimate hotel housed in a renovated, two-story, old apartment house still smells new in the middle. The ideal location, in the very center of the city (some 300 m from the main square of Skandberg), makes it easy to get to anywhere in the city, and the center can be easily visited on foot. The hotel’s name is totally true. We definitely lived in the center.
As the Stela Center Hotel is new, there might be some minor inconveniences.
First, the taxi driver did not know the hotel, so we simply asked him to go to
the intersection of the streets where the Stela Center is located. He dropped
us off at the door of the hotel. Second, there is no elevator at the hotel. With
smaller or bigger luggage, reception staff will be happy to help you when you
arrive or when you leave the hotel. The reception staff are nice and helpful, showing
genuinely friendly attitude to guests. They will provide you with information
and advice about the city, communication and sightseeing. Problem? – no
problem. When there was a need to split a double bed into two twin beds, the
ladies did it immediately within 10 minutes; quilts instead of sheets (normally
set for the summer) appeared a minute after our request. Trouble-free and open
approach to guests is a huge advantage of this hotel, or rather the hotel staff.
A small reception, as often in boutique hotels, is connected to the restaurant. Here you can eat something during the day, have a drink in the evening (if you do not feel like going out to bars and restaurants outside the hotel, there is plenty of them nearby). Breakfast is also served in the restaurant. We were a little bit surprised that breakfast is served from 07:30. For us, it was definitely too late, at 7:30 we had to leave the hotel to the station where we had a bus at 8:00. Fortunately, thanks to previous arrangement by receptionist, breakfast was ready already at 7, so we could eat a full European breakfast, hot and cold, with very good coffee from the machine.
If a safe and a coffee / tea maker were added to the room equipment, the room
would meet the 4 * hotel criteria. Despite staying in the standard room, the
room was really spacious, the bathroom was large, with a window. There was a
lot of space for wardrobe and suitcases in built-in cabinets. Everything in the
room was new. Beds very comfortable with high quality bedding. Air
conditioning, necessary for the prevailing heat (+ 35C), was working without
any problems. In the room, after a dozen minutes you could have even 19-20
degrees. All thanks to the individual control of devices in each room.
The bright and large bathroom was modern and comfortably equipped. Spacious shower, separate toilet and bidet, a large washbasin with a top that can accommodate a large number of cosmetics. The bathroom in our opinion is at least 4 stars.
In conclusion, a very successful, though short stay in Tirana. Hotel Stela Center is recommendable for its service, room standard and location.
