Miejski hotel nad morzem na krótszy lub dłuższy pobyt

Hotel Blue Star w Budvie wybraliśmy z kilku powodów, przede wszystkim ze względu na lokalizację, wygląd pokojów, opinie gości no i cenę. W mieście zatrzymaliśmy się na 3 doby i mieliśmy zamiar zwiedzić, oprócz samej Budvy, również Kotor, Perast, Sv.Stefan i Herceg Novi. Nie wypożyczając samochodu, korzystaliśmy z komunikacji autobusowej. Dlatego bardzo ważne dla nas było to, że Hotel Blue Star znajduje się około 200-300 m od dworca autobusowego. Jednocześnie położenie przy mniejszej ulicy sprawia, że bliskość dworca nie jest uciążliwa. Wokół jest sporo sklepów spożywczych oraz restauracji, które mogą pozytywnie zaskoczyć – my polecamy restaurację Kużina. Natomiast do plaży można dojść wolnym krokiem spokojnie w 10 minut.

Hotel z zewnątrz utrzymany jest w tonacji biało-niebieskiej, w końcu to Blue Star. Lobby hotelowe jest niezbyt duże, ale znajdziemy tu miejsce z wygodnymi kanapami oraz miły chłód w porównaniu do panującego na zewnątrz (o tej porze roku) upału. Z lobby można wejść bezpośrednio do znajdującej się obok hotelowej kawiarni lub do restauracji, położonej na pierwszym piętrze.

Hotel nie jest typowym wakacyjnym molochem z setkami gości. Mieści 30-40 pokojów. W hotelu panuje miła, przyjazna gościom atmosfera, którą podtrzymują kompetentni i gotowi do pomocy pracownicy recepcji.

My spaliśmy w standardowym pokoju dwuosobowym typu twin. Pokój standardowy jest obszerny i przestronny, (ok 30 m2 łącznie z łazienką), dlatego oprócz łóżek spokojnie zmieścił się stolik, dwa fotele, duże biurko z minibarem, a pozostała przestrzeń zapewniała wystarczający komfort. Dodatkowo, pokoje są dość wysokie – ok. 3,5 m, co dodatkowo sprawia, że pokój nabiera przestrzeni. Łóżka były wygodne, o standardowej szerokości 90cm, za to długie na 2m lub więcej. Pościel miła w dotyku. W wystroju, podobnie jak na zewnętrz, dominowały kolory biały i niebieski, uzupełnione jasnym drewnem, z którego wykonano meble. Na szczęście pokój był klimatyzowany, bo przy upałach +35C trudno byłoby wytrzymać. Pomimo obszernego pokoju, klimatyzacja była sprawna i szybko potrafiła schłodzić pomieszczenie do niskiej temperatury.

Łazienka była spora, funkcjonalnie urządzona, utrzymana w jasnych, beżowych barwach. Dobrej jakości ręczniki były zmieniane codziennie, podobnie zresztą jak włoskie kosmetyki uzupełniane każdego dnia.

Na powitanie otrzymaliśmy zestaw owoców i przekąsek. Śniadanie były serwowane od 07 do 10:00. Hotel oferował bardzo duży wybór potraw na ciepło i zimno, pozwalający skomponować klasyczne  „wytrawne” śniadanie czy też zestaw bardziej południowy, na słodko (ciasta, owoce). Gdy czegoś zabrakło, szybko było to uzupełniane.

W hotelu dostępne są też pokoje executive, które różnią się od standardowych jeszcze większą powierzchnią. Jeśli ktoś ma ochotę, może zamieszkać w dwupokojowych apartamentach, z czego kilka ma nawet swój balkon.

Hotel Blue Star możemy polecić każdemu, od osób podróżujących i zwiedzających Czarnogórę lub Bałkany, tak jak my, przez małe grupy (biznesowe, sportowe, turystyczne) a nawet rodziny z dziećmi – do plaży naprawdę nie jest daleko. Pokoje są wygodne, obszerne i komfortowe. Obsługa miła i pomocna, a sam hotel dobrze położony, no chyba że ktoś musi spać w pierwszej linii brzegowej, to wtedy może zatrzymać się w innym hotelu sieci Stars Hotel Group w Budvie, hotelu Montenegro lub w pierwszym pięciogwiazdkowym hotelu w Czarnogórze – Hotelu Splendid Spa Resort.

A city hotel at the sea for a shorter or longer stay

We chose the Blue Star Hotel in Budva for several reasons, mainly due to the location, how the rooms look like and other guest reviews. We had stayed for 3 days and we were going to visit, apart from Budva itself, also Kotor, Perast, Sv.Stefan and Herceg Novi. We did not rent a car, we used public bus. That is why it was very important for us that the Blue Star Hotel is about 200-300 m from the bus station. At the same time, the location at a smaller street means that the proximity of the station is not a problem at all. There are many grocery stores and restaurants around, which can positively surprise – we recommend the Kuzina restaurant. The beach can be reached in a leisurely 10-minute walk.

From the outside the hotel is in a blue and white tone ( it is Blue Star anyway). The hotel lobby is not very large but comfortable and provides a nice coolness compared to the outside heat. From the lobby, you can go directly to the hotel’s cafe (ground floor) or restaurant, located on the first floor.

The hotel is not a typical holiday house with hundreds of guests. The hotel holds 30-40 rooms. The hotel has a nice, friendly atmosphere, supported by competent and ready to help reception staff.

We slept in a standard twin room. The standard room is big and spacious, (about 25m2 including the bathroom), so apart from the beds, there was a table, two armchairs, a large desk with a minibar. And still the remaining space was quite sufficient. In addition, the rooms are quite high – about 3.5 m, which additionally makes the room spacious. The beds were comfortable, with a standard width of 90cm, but long at 2m or more. Bedding was nice to touch. The decor, just like the outside, was dominated by white and blue colors, complemented by light wood from which furniture was made. Fortunately, the room was air-conditioned, because it would be difficult to stand the heat outside + 35C. Despite the spacious room, the air conditioning was really efficient and quickly cooled the room to a low temperature.

The bathroom was large, functionally furnished, decorated in light beige colors. Good quality towels were changed every day, as well as Italian cosmetics refilled every day.

We received a set of fruit and snacks on arrival what was a very nice gesture. Breakfast was served from 07 to 10:00. The hotel offered a very large selection of hot and cold dishes, allowing you to compose a classic „dry” breakfast or a more southern set, for sweet (cakes, fruits). When something ran out, it was quickly replenished.

Apart from standard rooms, executive rooms are also available. They differ from the standard even bigger space. If you have a wish, you can live in two-room apartments, some of which even have a balcony.

Blue Star Hotel can be recommended to anyone, who travels around Montenegro or the Balkans, just like us, through small groups (business, sports, tourist) to even families with children – the beach is not really far away. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and comfortable. Service friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself well located, unless someone has to sleep in the first line shore. Then he can stay at another hotel from Stars Hotel Group network in Budva, Hotel Montenegro or 5 stars Splendid Hotel and Spa.
